Although almost everyone needs financial products, many people still think that they are opaque and complicated.

OK so most of us understand what life insurance is and can relate to the benefits it provides.

However, the same cannot be said of critical illness or long term care insurance, Self invested Pension Plans, OEICS or IHT planning!

What doesn’t help is that providers of financial services and products still use ambiguous language and long-winded explanations to explain the role and benefits of their products.

So rather than wading through brochures, a far better way to demonstrate the purpose and benefits of many financial products is for real people to tell us how they used them in the real world. Maybe you have been successful at reducing the amount of debt you have, or increased your income so that your overall financial situation has improved? If so, please tell others how you did it so that they can learn from your experience. Or perhaps you know of someone whose efforts would encourage others to get out of debt?
